If you want to start a live presentation, but the Session Manager reports "Not connected to live session" and looks like this:

There may be two reasons for this:
Please check your internet connection, you may be offline.
A connection to ovos play is blocked in the network you are using, e.g. by firewall guidelines.
If you have checked your internet connection and it still does not work, the IT department will need to intervene for step 2. We ask you to forward the information below so that an authorisation can be guaranteed.
Authorisation for the ovos play Live
The "Live" extension uses its own connections, which must not be closed during use. Firewall restrictions can block these connections. Under certain circumstances, a authorisation for https://#{{instance}}.app.ovosplay.com/api/subscriptions
is required. (If your own domain is used https://#{{eigeneDomain.com}}/api/subscriptions
)
The live connection is used so that participating mobile devices can send and receive encrypted data (TLS/SSL) in real time to a backend service during a face-to-face event.
For illustration you can find a video here the functionality of Live as Video.
The data communication is limited to indexes, so that the correct presentation slide is displayed on all devices, and response data sent from the mobile devices to the service. It is not possible to query or transmit data other than this specified data.
The backend service of the live sessions runs encapsulated and therefore poses no security risk to other applications.
